Stihl MS 361 aftermarket coil April 24, 2018 Reviewer: Richard Cook from Winnemucca, NV United States   Helpful information on web site, quick delivery.  Saw wouldn't start but showed spark on a spark tester; however, the spark was pale yellow not bright blue as I expected from the kind of voltage the saw was supposed to generate.  Easy coil change out using business card feeler gauge solved problem saving down time and many dollars at the local saw shop.  Now saw is it's old, "Pull hard and be careful or you'll flood me," self. aftermarket ignition coil for stihl ms 361 March 29, 2013 Reviewer: Russell Ruch from converse, IN United States   the coil you sent me did not work on my 361 .Im not sure what its not doing it must have something to do with the internal ignition advavce inside the coil.I noticed it had good spark  but would not start . I finally Bought a brand new one from the dealer here .Although I hate paying almost triple of what your coil was its what it took to get itgoing .  Just to double check myself after running the saw for a couple hours I took the new stihl coil off and put the one I had purchased from lil red barn back on once again I could not get the saw to start after 10 pulls I removed it and put the stihl one back on the saw started on the second pull.   What I would like to see is some research into why these coils will not run on stihl ms 361 as this is what thwy are manufactured to be used on  . If you will refund my money and pay for shipping I would appreciate it and I would also like to know why this coil has good spark but will not allow my saw to run Was this review helpful to you?
